If you are ill when you return from your trip, we will be here for you.
If you have a life threatening medical emergency, please call 911,
and then our clinic at 404-459-4393. If you call after office hours, our answering service will locate the physician on call. We will schedule a private consultation at our office-based practice for ill patients at Georgia Infectious Diseases, PC. Emergency hospital-based services are provided at
Saint Joseph’s or Northside Hospital.

If possible please try to schedule your
appointment at least 6 to 8 weeks before travel. Most
vaccines can be given on short notice, it is recommended to get them in advance to
assure maximum protection.
A number of vaccinations are given as a
series of two or more doses over a designated period of time. We will contact you in an effort to schedule that your boosters are given
at the appropriate interval.
Dr. Blass, Dr. Williamson and Dr. Trible are available
24 hours a day, 7 days a week
in the event
of illness upon your return.
